Teaching

Adrián Artacho MA teaches Computer Music (Computermusik) at the Musikschulen Wien and is a lecturer in the Transmedia Performance profile of the Master’s program in Contemporary Arts Practice at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), where he teaches the subjects Speech & Sound, Body and Movement in Music Practice, and Time & Space. He holds a Master’s degree in Composition and Music Theory from the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität, a postgraduate degree in Electronic Music from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and is a certified Kulturvermittler (Institut für Kulturkonzepte).

I’m passionate about teaching the craft, and the joy of creating new music.

Artacho is often invited to give workshops at music schools and universities on topics such as Live Electronics, Kulturvermittlung, New Music and Songwriting.
